A teenager has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Norwich.
The boy had been involved in the collision while walking at the junction of Woodcock Road and Aylsham Road shortly before 4pm yesterday afternoon.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: 'We received a call at 3.49pm to reports of an RTC involving a pedestrian on Woodcock Road in Norwich. 'We dispatched an ambulance crew to assist which arrived within six minutes of the call. At the scene a young male teenager was treated for abdomen pains and a leg injury before being taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.'
First Norwich buses had previously warned there would be significant disruption in the area as a result of the collision.
