The girl was on her own as she walked between Dereham and Scarning along Ted Ellis Walk when she was pulled off the path.

She screamed and shouted managed to struggle free and ran home after the ordeal, which happened between 8 and 8.20pm on Tuesday.

Detectives have appealed to anyone who may have information about the incident or the offender.
