A teenager who was killed in a crash with a van along a Norfolk country road has been named. Mathew Theobald, 19, of Alston Crescent, Stansted, Suffolk, was pronounced dead at the scene on Tuesday evening after the accident on the A149 near Heacham.

Mathew Theobald, 19, of Alston Crescent, Stansted, Suffolk, was pronounced dead at the scene on Tuesday evening after the accident on the A149 near Heacham.

He had been walking along the road towards King's Lynn with another man at about 9.40pm when he was in a crash with a Vauxhall Vivaro van, driven by a 43-year-old local man.

Police said his family had been informed and that an inquest will open in due course.
