Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy indecently exposed himself to a woman in Kessingland.

The incident happened around 5.35pm yesterday (Monday, August 1) as the woman, in her 60s, was out walking her dog on a footpath in the London Road area, near the caravan park and Kessingland cliffs.

She went past the teenage boy who was walking in the opposite direction and then heard shouting behind her. She turned around to see the teenager was looking at her and had his shorts pulled down, exposing himself. The woman took out her mobile phone and he pulled up his shorts and ran off towards Green Lane.

The teenager is described as white, with short dark hair, about 5ft 7ins tall, of average build and appeared to be in his late teens. He was bare chested and was wearing three-quarter length blue shorts.

Anyone who may have seen him in the area or anyone with information about who he is should call officers at Lowestoft by dialling Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime number 47924/16.
