A 17 year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after a car knocked him off his bicycle on yesterday evening.The boy, who is being treated for serious head injuries at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, but is described as stable.
A 17 year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after a car knocked him off his bicycle on Wednesday evening.
The boy, who is being treated for serious head injuries at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, but is described as stable.
He was hit by a blue Peugeot 306 as he rode his gold BMX from Bury Road to Brandon Road, across London Road, in Thetford at 5.13pm.
The driver of the car, a 39 year-old Thetford man, was shaken but uninjured in the crash.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact PC Shane Schucroft at Attleborough Road Policing on 0845 456 4567.
