Teen arrested after Dereham assault

A teenager has been arrested in connection with an assault in Dereham.
Police said a man in his 20s was walking on Yaxham Road at approximately 11.45pm on Saturday when he was approached by a group of people before being assaulted.
He suffered minor injuries.
A 17-year-old male from the Dereham area was arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries until Friday, November 11.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
