A 39-year-old man appeared before magistrates today in connection with an incident in Coltishall on Sunday involving a man brandishing a samurai sword.

A 39-year-old man appeared before magistrates today in connection with an incident in Coltishall on Sunday involving a man brandishing a samurai sword. Mark Baker, of Ling Way, Coltishall, did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.

He will appear again before magistrates on May 10 via video link before being sent to Norwich Crown Court where he will face seven charges including affray, criminal damage, dangerous driving, assault and failing to provide a specimen of breath.
