Swing bridge problems cause passenger delays

Rail services between Norwich and Lowestoft were delayed this morning due to problems with a swing bridge.

A spokesperson for Abellio Greater Anglia said the disruption was due to the Somerleyton swing bridge over the River Waveney.

She said: 'Tickets were accepted on bus services x2 and x22. Services are now retuning to normal but there are some residual delays. We would like to apologise to those passengers affected.'
