The organisers of the popular Lowestoft Christmas Day Swim are encouraging local charities to get in touch to be the beneficiaries of the donated sponsorships raised.
Sentinel Leisure Trust are hoping that the 2015 event will be 'bigger and better' with more than £8,000 raised for worthwhile causes in the Waveney area last year.
A spokesman said: 'This year the organisers are hoping that even more local heroes get involved and brave the North Sea at this much loved and anticipated social calendar event.
'We are looking for local charities that are actively involved within the Lowestoft/Waveney area to be the beneficiaries of the donated sponsorships raised.
'If you would like to be considered please complete the application, giving as much information as possible to help your cause.'
All applications must be received by Monday, November 2 and will be acknowledged and considered by a panel of independent volunteers.
