Cheques have been handed to two East Anglia-based charities following a successful charity golf day.
The Swaffham Golf Club held the charity day on July 10 and raised money for both the SSAFA, a charity which provides welfare and support to members of the armed forces, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
It was organised by The Swaffham Rotary Club and the cheques were handed over by vice president Malcolm Whittle to Sue Pilcher representing the SSAFA armed forces charity and to Mary Dunn from the East Angilan Air Ambulance.
Also attending the handover were Rotarians Neville Robinson and Denis Bishop with Ian Pilcher from SSAFA.
Rotary vice president Malcolm Whittley said: 'The Swaffham Rotary Club are delighted to support these two worthwhile charities and thanks all those golfers, sponsors, and guests that helped make the day so successful'
