Seven Vietnamese men who were taken into custody by the Border Agency authority after jumping from a lorry and fleeing in Thetford have been released.
The men were picked up by police after they sparked a manhunt at around 9.30am on May 3 at the Abbeyheath Services on the A11.
The police helicopter was called into action as part of the search.
A spokesman for the Home Office confirmed today that the men were no longer in custody.
They were initially put in immigration detention before being released on immigration bail.
