Suspected drink driver arrested in North Burlingham after member of the public calls police

A suspected drink driver has been arrested after police said they were three-and-a-half times over the limit.

The arrest took place in North Burlingham with Sergeant Chris Harris later posting on Twitter to say: 'Drink driver from earlier has provided an evidential sample in custody of 121ugs, the limit is 35ugs.'

The arrest came after a call from a member of the public and happened at about 8pm last night.

The driver has been charged to appear in court.
