The garden at a Wymondham cancer charity has welcomed a new addition thanks to generous donations and voluntary work.
A summerhouse now sits in the garden at Star Throwers, in Melton Road, providing a new place where cancer patients can sit and relax.
The structure was donated by Steve Hayes, while the foundations were built by volunteer David Dore.
Star Throwers, which is run by volunteers, provides advice on available cancer treatments, complementary therapies and a relaxing environment where patients and their families can share their experiences.
As demand for the centre increases, more volunteers are needed to take on roles such as reception duties, fundraising, event organising, gardening and DIY.
The centre is also in need of people with current healthcare experience, including trainee or retired doctors and nurses.
