Police will be out in force this week as part of campaign to clamp down on speeding motorists.
More speeding checks will take place across Suffolk to reduce the number of drivers flouting the speed limit.
It comes after a report revealed people killed by road accidents had increased by 3pc from 2010 to 2011 – the first increase on record since 2003.
Sgt Paul Ward of the casualty reduction team said: 'The message is simple. The speed limit is there for a reason.'
The initiative will run until Sunday.
