Suffolk Fire and Rescue took to Twitter to reassure people living in the Lowestoft area about their presence on Tuesday night.

They said crews from Lowestoft, Wrentham, Beccles and Bungay were at St Peters Court in the town to practice high-rise fire procedures and that people should not be alarmed.

In summer, after the Grenfell fire in London, plans were announced to install a £200,000 sprinkler system in the 16-storey residential tower block.
