She has been selected to perform in a professional production of 'Cinderella in Hollywood'.

The production will be at Norwich Theatre Royal on May 25 and 26.

The multi-talented youngster from Norwich is a high achiever and has taken her football and ballet to high levels.

Miss Aves also trains and plays football for Norwich City at the Player Development Centre, plays for Thorpe United and her school team at Thorpe St Andrew High School.

Miss Aves, said: 'In the production, I'm in a movie which Cinderella watches before going to be the ball, I also play an audition girl, auditioning for a part in a Hollywood production.

'I can't wait to see the whole show come together and to perform on the big stage in front of lots of people with other amazing dancers.'

She added that both football and ballet has similarities as in both everyone has to work together to achieve a great overall performance.

The performance of Cinderella in Hollywood is set in the glamorous era of 1950s Hollywood movies where Cinderella's wicked sisters are competing with each other for starring film roles.

The music in the performance combines jazz suites and ballet suites with memorable melodies from Hollywood films.

Dominic Marshall, assistant director of EYB, said: 'Elysia is progressing very well in rehearsals, she is learning corps de ballet skills and I think she is enjoying dancing alongside our French principal ballerina, Clare Corruble.

'She is also having fun and developing her comedy acting skills in Act two of the ballet where she is part of a competitive audition lineup.'
