Stagecoach bus drivers in Norfolk will not go on strike today after union officials decided to consider a revised pay offer.
Norfolk Green, which operates bus routes in west Norfolk and around the county, is owned by Stagecoach.
Members of the transport union RMT had planned to stage a 24-hour walkout amid an ongoing dispute over pay and working conditions.
It has suspended the strike action and will now put the revised pay offer to its members via a ballot.
Andy Campbell, Stagecoach East managing director, said: 'We are pleased for our customers that the planned strike action has been suspended and we hope we are a step closer to reaching an agreement with the union.'
