Police are no longer treating as suspicious the death of a man who was found unconscious in Norwich city centre in the early hours of yesterday.
Paramedics fought to save the 27-year-old man, who was found lying near to the junction of Prince of Wales Road and Eastbourne Place just before 3.30am.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but later died. A post mortem is due to take place to establish the cause of death.
Officers from Norwich CID carried out a large number of enquiries into the incident throughout yesterday.
A 32-year-old woman from the Fakenham area, who was known to the deceased, was arrested at the scene.
She has now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
