Urban Street Dance Crew came away with a number of trophies at a local dance competition hosted by LK School of Dance in Eye.

The 40 young dancers, aged between five and 19-years-old, took home more than 20 trophies for various team, solo and duo entries.

Winners included the under 14s dance crew, the under 16s dance crew, and the under 10s dance crew who had to compete at the under 12s level but still won.

Lorraine Brand, a parent supporter of the dance group, said: 'It was lovely to come home with so many trophies. It was the first time LK School of Dance had hosted their own competition and it was nice to support another dance school.

'It is a great event and such a massive thing for them,' said Mrs Brand.

The group were also visited by dance duo and Britain's Got Talent runners-up Twist and Pulse.

The pair, real names Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, spent a couple of hours teaching the youngsters some new moves.
