The Post Office has launched a public consultation over cutting the opening hours of its Stow Bridge branch.
It says current opening hours at the post office are 'not sustainable'.
It said it would therefore be looking to change opening times and reduce the days. A spokesman said: 'We believe that a reduction of opening hours presents the best possible solution to allow us to maintain access to Post Office services in Stow Bridge area in the longer term.'
