A man searching for his late father's missing model steam train has appealed to the public for help.
John Knights, 71, from Spixworth, sold his father's locomotive model to another enthusiast, as his father had died before he could finish it.
The model is a five inch gauge of a train called Claud Hamilton, named after Lord Claud Hamilton, a one-time chairman of the Great Eastern Railway.
The model steam train was sold in 1986 to John Martin from Thetford, who according to Mr Knights completed it to a 'very high standard'.
But over the following 30 years, Mr Knights 'lost track' of Mr Martin and, with him, his father's train.
His father, Albert George Charles Knights, lived in Hellesdon, and made a smaller model train, which Mr Knights would like to reunite with its counterpart.
