Time is running out to nominate for the Stars of Norfolk and Waveney Awards.
There is now less than a month to get your nominations in for this years awards, which will celebrate the stars of your community with a spectacular ceremony night full of cheers and tears as amazing stories are shared.
There has been scores of applications, but without your nomination that person who does so much for so little, may go unrecognised for their out-standing contributions.
Not only is the night a celebration with drinks, food and awards, each winner receives a prize for their work, with the judges getting to know the nominees so they can choose something that will really make a difference to their life.
It only takes 50 words to fill out the nomination form. Just the nominees name and a description of why you think the person or group deserve the award.
Editor-in-chief of the EDP, David Powles, said: 'Everyone will know a group or someone who does extraordinary things for the people around them.
'Well, what better to do than to sing about their achievements by nominating them for a deserved award? We've had a great response, but we'd love more.'
This paper has already featured stories about previous winners and the difference that winning the award made to their lives and the happiness felt knowing the work that they do has been appreciated.
We were able to celebrate the hard work of Janice Parslow-Williams after she retired from Manorcourt Homecare after more than 25 years of service.
She said: 'I have never seen anything like it been done before. It was an eye opener and so nice for people to say thank you.
'You don't realise that people do care when you go to work everyday and when someone says thank you it does make you stand back, it's lovely. Seeing some of the rewards it was out-standing.'
