Castle Mall is hosting a family fun day themed around Star Wars.
The event on Saturday will raise money for the One Great Day initiative, for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and children's charity, Finnbars Force.
Gemma Hyde, marketing manager at Castle Mall, said: 'This nationwide charity event is a great way to raise funds for two marvellous charities. Finnbars Force touch so many lives in our region and although people often associate GOSH with London, their reach is so much wider than that, they treat kids from all over the UK, including many from our area.'
The event will include a meet and greet with the Star Wars Characters, a chance to design and make your own lightsabre, Jedi Knight Training, a character hunt across the centre, plus fun family activities.
There will be small charges and requests for donations, which will then be split between the two charities.
