A teenager whose body was found on the beach at the base of Hunstanton cliffs had suffered from mental health problems, an inquest heard.
Yesterday’s inquest in King’s Lynn heard that college student Lydia Stafford, 19, from Low Road, Congham, who died on June 11, 2013, had a long history of such problems.
The cause of death was given as intra-abdominal haemorrhage due to ruptured liver and spleen due to a fall from height.
Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake’s conclusion was that she died from suicide. An investigation was carried out by the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust, and Mrs Lake said she was pleased with the actions it had taken.
