Youngsters will benefit from a spring fair which is being planned for the village of Mulbarton.

The Puddleducks Playgroup is organising the Sunday, April 30 event to raise money to run a theatre trip and drama sessions, and to buy new equipment including a 'shape carpet' for the children.

The fair will feature a bouncy castle, donkey rides, face painting and a tombola with a range of prizes.

There will also be plants for the garden, hot food, ice cream, cakes, tea and coffee, candy floss and sweets.

Sarah Headland, from the playgroup committee, said: 'There promises to be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.'

Local businesses will also have stalls there selling a range of gifts, arts and crafts and other surprises.

The fair will run from 11am to 2pm, and will be held in the Jubilee Room at the Mulbarton Village Hall.
