The GoGoDragons! are on their way to fire up our fine city – and so is an extra special souvenir celebrating the mythological beasts.
This Sunday is the start of the GoGoDragons! charity art trail being brought to Norwich by children's charity Break and Wild in Art, and tonight the EDP and Evening News made a very special announcement at Norwich Castle, home of the city's historic dragon, Snap.
We have joined forces with the GoGoDragons! team and East of England Co-op to create a sticker album featuring all 84 decorated GoGoDragons! who are turning Norwich into their lair this summer – and people will also be able to collect stickers of the GoGoGorillas! from summer 2013 too. The sticker album – which also features quizzes, the GoGoDragons! trail map and stories about the dragons and gorillas – will be on sale from tomorrow, with the first stickers available from Monday.
EDP and Norwich Evening News editor-in-chief Nigel Pickover said: 'We are thrilled to have created this sticker album to bring an exciting extra dimension to the GoGoDragons! trail. The East of England Co-op are our great friends in the GoGoDragons! crusade and together we hope thousands of people will enjoy collecting the stickers for this album which will lead to significant extra funds for Break.'
Roger Grosvenor, executive officer retail at East of England Co-op, said: 'As a community retailer we felt it was a great way to give something back to the community– what better way than to work with a charity like Break which is looking after the next generation?'
GoGoDragons! project manager Martin Green said the sticker book was a great addition to the GoGoDragons! excitement.
He said: 'GoGoDragons! looks set to take Norwich by storm this summer. People are being really inspired by what is happening, and with Norwich's links to dragons and all the great art, it is a nice mixture of history, art and creativity.'

How to collect your stickers
The GoGoDragons! sticker album is available from tomorrow at EDP and Evening News offices, participating East of England Co-op stores, Break charity shops and Norwich department store Jarrold.
The book – which is raising funds for Break – costs £5 to buy, and from Monday you will also be able to collect your stickers from the same shops.
There are 150 stickers for you to collect, including 84 dragon stickers, 54 gorilla stickers and 12 special, shiny stickers.
You will be able to collect the stickers for 10 weeks until Saturday, August 29.
From Monday the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News will be publishing a voucher each day which can be exchanged for one free pack of five stickers, and Saturday's Eastern Daily Press will include two sticker vouchers.
Alternatively people can buy sticker packs for £1 each.
You can keep collecting all the way to 150 stickers, but if you are extra keen you will also be able to buy your final 20 stickers – subject to availability – direct from the EDP and Norwich Evening News head office in Rouen Road for 20p per sticker.
To do this you will need to show your sticker album filled with 130 stickers.
Have fun collecting your stickers!
