A new vegan takeaway is set to stir things up when it arrives on Magdalen Street this August.

The owner of Take Thai on Dereham Road is expanding into the city centre this summer with new venture Vegan Wok - serving 100pc vegan authentic East Asian cuisine.

'Although I'm not vegan myself, my aim has always been to provide fresh, healthy, honest food.

MORE: 8 of the best places to find a vegetarian lunch in Norwich for £5 or less'Vegan Wok will be one of the first, possibly the only dedicated takeaway of its kind in the UK - there will be traditional Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indonesian Dishes on the menu.'

All the food at the new eatery will be cooked from scratch by Thai and Vietnamese chefs and Mr Davis insists 'you don't need to be vegan to enjoy these dishes'.
