School pupils in King's Lynn organised a collection for homeless people.
Elsie Marrow, a seven-year-old pupil at South Wootton Infant School, is vice chair of the school council.
She asked members and school staff to help arrange the collection for the Purfleet Trust.
Elsie said: 'I thought it would be a nice idea because we all go home to thinking about Advent calendars and writing our Christmas lists and some people don't.
'I wanted them to have something for Christmas too and thought it would be a nice thing for us all to do.'
Elsie spoke to some mums and dads who were present at a school assembly and parents werealso notified through the school newsletter. They were asked to donate toiletries, food items, warm blankets, hats, scarves and gloves.
The trust provides access to showers and laundry facilities, hot food, telephone and internet access, along with advice.
