An inquest has been opened and adjourned following the death of a 33-year-old man at a house party in King's Lynn.
Roy Carter, of Ullswater Avenue, South Wootton, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn on Friday, May 25, after falling down a flight of stairs and hitting his head.
Mr Carter, originally from Norwich, was then taken to Addenrooke's Hospital and underwent surgery but was pronounced dead on Monday, May 28.
Norfolk coroner William Armstrong opened the inquest at Norfolk Coroner's Court, in Thorpe Road, Norwich, this morning and has adjourned the hearing for further investigations.
