Family-run Norwich jeweller, Sonkai, is designing and creating a bespoke set of platinum, diamond and pearl earrings as a very special prize at Norfolk cancer charity, Big C’s, Norfolk Show Ball which takes place later this month.
The Norwich Lanes’ jeweller is sponsoring the heads and tails game for the Big C ball on the June 22. Several lucky guests who receive a dark pearl when taking part, will have chance to play in the final to win the earrings, which are inspired by the glamourous 1920s jazz era event theme.
Sonkai managing director, Sara Sweet, said: “We are delighted to support Big C at their Norfolk Show Ball. The 1920s is a wonderfully atmospheric era with iconic design which we have used to inspire our earrings, while creating a set of jewellery that is very wearable today.”
Dr Chris Bushby, chief executive at Big C, said: “Grateful thanks to the Sonkai team for their support and this very special set of earrings which will make a unique prize for the ball. We’re sure everyone will want to get involved for the chance to win them and in turn raise essential funds for those in our community affected by cancer.”
