A show which commemorates music, songs and sketches that helped win the war will be showcased next month.

The Seagull Theatre in Pakefield will be welcoming a cast of singers and dancers on Remembrance Sunday, November 11, as Songs of Remembrance hits the stage at 2.30pm.

Songs of Remembrance, by Full House Productions, includes songs and medleys by the likes of Vera Lynn, Flanagan & Allen, The Andrews Sisters, The Glenn Miller Big band, Doris Day, Max Miller and many more. Songs of Remembrance includes singalong sections and audience participation and promises 'a nostalgic and humorous trip down memory lane.' Choreographer Ellie Darnell said: 'Music and dancing was such an important factor in keeping the spirits up of the British during both world wars and we will be working hard to pay our respects on Remembrance Day.'

Tickets cost £11 and £10 for concessions. Call The Seagull Theatre on 01502 589726 or visit www.theseagull.co.uk
