Townspeople are getting ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a popular community centre.
The Town Green Centre at Wymondham's Methodist Church will mark its silver milestone on Saturday, May 13, featuring an evening event led by BBC Songs of Praise presenter Pam Rhodes.
Ms Rhodes, who is also a former Anglia Television news presenter, opened the centre in 1992.
Many of the roughly 20 groups that regularly use the centre in Back Lane will be showcased in an open day there from 10.30am to 3.30pm, and there will be a re-dedication at 4pm with speeches and cake.
Dozens of people use the venue each week, and there are groups which meet there for older people, parents and toddlers, young carers, bereavement support, mindfulness, and it also hosts meetings of the Wymondham Access Group.
