A social enterprise that aims to provide an affordable way to travel has said that demand for the service is growing fast.
Scoots Hire is based in Dereham and was launched in March this year in order to provide mopeds to people who are looking for a convenient means of travel.
Demand for the service has been growing rapidly and the company now caters for more than 200 people, including in areas across Norfolk such as Norwich, Dereham, Fakenham and Cromer.
Barry Lynes, head of strategic partnerships, said: 'We are already providing mopeds to more than 200 people across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and the demand is continuing to grow.
'There are many people who cannot afford or who do not have access to the transport they need to get to work, education facilities or to simply to have some form of independence. We are now improving the lives of many people by helping them to realise new opportunities.'
