An historic pub which nearly went up in flames after a severe chimney fire before Christmas is hosting a fundraising quiz tomorrow for firefighters.
Landlady Eunice Wortley of the Crown in Smallburgh, between North Walsham and Stalham, organised the event to say thank you to the emergency service teams who put out the flames in the 15th century building.
Firefighters from Stalham and North Walsham and the aerial ladder platform from Earlham were called out on the night of the near disaster.
The quiz starts at 7pm-7.30pm and costs £2 per person. Participants can turn up on the night.
