A close-to 200-mile day trip involving a small army of mayors and chairmen to help promote Norfolk Day, arrived in Cromer yesterday afternoon.
Called the Norfolk Grand Tour, the county's council chairman and mayors were visiting ten locations to showcase much of what the county has to offer, ahead of Norfolk Day on July 27.
The tour was led by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, and also visited Britannia Terrace in Norwich and the city's Forum, before travelling to Bressingham Steam and Gardens, near Diss.
Then it was onto Thetford where the group stopped off at the much-loved Captain Mainwaring statue and Bench.
The 'chain gang' then visited the Queen's residence at Sandringham and King's Lynn, before heading to Cromer Pier and Ranworth Broad. The tour ended on Yarmouth seafront.
Norfolk Day is led by the EDP and Norwich Evening News in partnership with BBC Radio Norfolk.
