A dog was killed after it was hit by a car on the A149 near King's Lynn.
A police spokesman said they were called to the scene between the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Knights Hill at 4.55pm and left at 5.10pm.
He said a dog was hit by a Volkswagen Polo and added, after some traffic disruption, the road was now clear.
