Climate change campaigner and slack rocker John Preston and his Tribute Band will be headlining Slackfest at All Saints Church in Stoke Ferry, on Saturday, October 23.

There will be bands, installations, electronics and projections. All will be crammed into the unique space of a church that has been made available for community and cultural events.

The Bleep Ensemble will provide an ambient, subversive sound, with Skins and Strings – a collective of musicians young and old from the area working under the guidance of Les Chappell and John Preston.

Nico and the Downham Underground will be unveiling a preview of their soon to be released CD, Songs of Misery and Pain.

Slack Fest will be staged at the church from 7.30pm to 11pm. Tickets 5.
