Six bailed in Thetford illegal rave inquiry
Six people have been released on bail after they were arrested when police broke up an illegal rave in a forest near the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
Police monitored the party in a boarded-up holiday home at Two Mile Bottom, near Thetford, on Saturday.
At the height of the event, there were believed to have been about 150 people attending, police said.
Sound equipment was seized and seven arrests made for offences including organising an unlicensed music event, possession of controlled drugs, burglary and theft.
A 20-year-old man from Thetford was arrested for possession of controlled drugs and charged to court for a breach of bail offence, while a 19-year-old woman received an official caution following an arrest on suspicion of theft. A 16-year-old received a reprimand for possession of cannabis.
A 20-year-old woman from Bury St Edmunds was also arrested on suspicion of being involved in the organisation of an unlicensed music event, while a 19-year-old man from St Neots in Cambridgeshire on suspicion of burglary.
Two 21-year-old men from Stowmarket and Bury were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and an 18-year-old from Great Yarmouth was arrested for driving whilst unfit through drinks and drugs.

Officers had been closely monitoring the situation since around midnight, actively turning away any further people attempting to attend.
No complaints were made in relation to noise nuisance. The nearest dwelling was around half a mile away.
