A sink hole has opened up in a Gorleston road.
The opening in the road surface was spotted yesterday evening in Englands Lane.
The sink hole has been reported to Norfolk County Council's highways team and they have made the area safe by putting barriers around it.
They will investigate the cause and repair the hole.
The hole is the latest in a series of similar incidents across Norfolk.
In October. a Ford Mondeo got stuck in a 4ft long sinkhole which opened up in a road in Banham.
At the start of the year, Plumstead Road in Norwich was closed to traffic in both directions, after a six-metre-deep sinkhole large enough to swallow a small car was discovered.
