Police are appealing for information after burglars stole thousands of pounds worth of watches from a home in Wymondham.
It happened between 8am on Tuesday, July 9 and 6.45pm on Monday, July 22 in Damgate Street where burglars are believed to have entered a house through an unlocked back door.
Three gold pocket watches, two made by JW Benson & Co and a third made by English Lever worth several thousand pounds and a cash box containing silver bullion bars were taken from a safe, also left unlocked.
Police have received reports of a man seen running from the address down an alleyway towards Market Street in the town centre on Monday, July 22 at about 6.40pm and was carrying a black box.
Officers would like to hear from anyone with information concerning the incident or whereabouts of the stolen property.
