The victim of Cromer's brutal off licence robbery has left hospital and gone to recover with relatives outside the county, as police continue to hunt the two men who attacked him.

Shopkeeper Jonathan Dunn, 52, was left with terrible facial injuries, including black eyes and a suspected broken jaw, after a pair of hooded raiders stole cash from The Local in Hamilton Road last Tuesday night at 10pm.

CCTV pictures have shown the robbers entering the wine shop, overpowering Mr Dunn from behind, and kicking him unconscious before taking money from the till in a raid which only lasted a matter of seconds.

Police last night said Mr Dunn had now left hospital, but was still in a “poor state” and was recovering with relatives outside of Norfolk.
