Emergency sewer repairs at a major Norwich road junction have been postponed for two weeks.
The work, to repair a collapsed section of sewer, was due to start today at the junction of Aylsham Road, Woodcock Road and Mile Cross Road.
However work has been put back until the start of April to allow for separate roadworks on Vulcan Road South to be completed first.
John Clare, from Anglian Water, said: 'This is a very busy junction and it is likely that our work will cause disruption for motorists. To keep that disruption to a minimum, we wanted to make sure roadworks on Vulcan Road were finished before we started.
'We are sorry for any confusion and hopefully this short delay will give people a bit more notice.'
