•Victorian Christmas Market, The Open Norwich

A Victorian themed Christmas Market set within the Open in the heart of Norwich.

Victorian attired stall holders will be selling hand crafted gifts, food & festive produce.

From Saturday 10am to Sunday at 5pm. Free entry

•An Audience with Father Christmas, Holkham Hall

A chance to listen to tales of wonderment and to meet Father and Mother Christmas. Ticket includes a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink plus a festive biscuit and you will have the chance to browse the Christmas pop-up shop after the performance for last-minute presents and festive treats.

An Audience with Father Christmas lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (max 2 adults per child), adults must be accompanied by a child.

Tickets: Adult £15, Child £15 (ages 0-16 inclusive). Performances at 9.30am, 10.45am, 12noon, 2pm, 3.15pm and 4.30pm. Booking is only available online. Online ticket sales will close at 4pm the day before the performance.

•Christmas Tree & Crib Festival, Great Yarmouth Minster

Nearly 100 Christmas trees and cribs on display at Great Yarmouth Minster. Refreshments available.

Open from 10.00am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. £2.00 on the door. Children free.

•The Forum in Norwich have two events worth a look this weekend.

There's an exhibition of The Story of Panto in Norfolk and a Modern Country Crafts Fair (Saturday only).

•Norfolk Ukulele Society, Octagon Unitarian Chapel, Norwich

Hear festive music from this group who are raising money for The Octagon and Martineau Hall New Facilities Appeal and the Forget-Me-Nots. Sandwiches and coffee will be available from 12.30pm. Performance starts at 1pm. Entry is £4.

•Thursford Christmas Spectacular

This is the largest Christmas show in the country. Set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians – many of whom are West End performers. The three-hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety.

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy embark on a magical mystery tour to the Land of Narnia through the wardrobe. There they encounter the wicked White Witch, representing the forces of evil, and the King of the Beasts, Aslan the lion, representing all that is good and right.
