Police were called to the scene of a collision between a school bus and a public bus.

The crash happened around 8.10am Monday morning on the B1113 near Swardeston.

The school bus, a Semmence coach service, was taking pupils to Hethersett Academy when it collided with the 37A Konectbus service from Mulbarton to Norwich.

Ambulance supported police at the crash site and treated one person at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash caused some traffic build-up as the road was partially blocked by the collided vehicles.

Hethersett Academy declined to comment but said it was working on a message to be sent to parents.
