A north Norfolk church will be a sea of colour as it hosts two events over the spring bank holiday weekend.
The end of May is the time to see the wildflowers looking their best in Thorpe Market churchyard.
The resident bees are also becoming active, the bug hotel is open for business and refugee hedgehogs will soon be arriving. The free event will run from 11am until 4pm on Sunday, May 27, and there will also be homemade cakes.
Meanwhile, the church will be hosting an exhibition of works by Mike Waters, who has exhibited with the Royal Society of Marine Artists. Melton Constable-born, he has been painting coastal views and landscapes in watercolours and oils since 1991.
He will be offering high quality reproductions of some of his best-known images in a variety of formats at affordable prices, from Saturday, May 26 to Monday, May 28, from 11am until 4pm.
