Police were called to Norwich City's training ground at Colney on Tuesday morning following a security alert and found that it was caused by a moth.

Officers were called to Colney at 12.40am following an alarm activation at the training ground.

The Canaries' facility was searched and declared secure with the trigger of the alarm found to be a giant moth in one of the buildings on the site.

On Twitter a patrol team from Norwich Police said it was their fourth call of the night. They added: 'Sadly the Sgt prefers @Official_ITFC.'
