A second senior officer has left crisis-hit Waveney District Council, it emerged today.
Louise Jordan-Hall is retiring from her role as strategic director with effect from December 31.
News of her departure comes just two weeks after chief executive Glen Garrod his post by mutual consent, admitting he did not have the skills to turn the authority's fortunes around following a series of poor reports into its performance.
Ms Jordan-Hall is to focus on her role as non-executive director with the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Primary Care Trust.
