Popular greetings card chain Scribbler is set to open in the Royal Arcade in Norwich next week.

The comical card shop will open its 35th store at the Gentleman's Walk entrance to in Norwich city centre on Thursday January 26.

A spokesperson for Scribbler said: 'We are very pleased to announce the opening of a new store in the Royal Arcade, Norwich.

'We are proud to be bringing our unique brand of quirky, alternative humour in cards, gifts and stationery to East Anglia, so why not swing by and meet our manager Naiara and her team, and see how we differ from the competition – you won't be disappointed! We look forward to welcoming you all soon.'

The nearest branch at present is on Market Street in Cambridge.

The retailer was founded in 1981 by husband and wife duo John and Jennie Procter.
