Pupils at a school close to Sandringham House enjoy their own party
Young pupils at school on the Royal Estate made sure they held their own special celebrations in the run-up to the Royal Wedding.
Children at Sandringham and West Newton Primary School turned-out in their finest party clothes to enjoy a wedding buffet at the school, a stone's throw from Sandringham House - a favourite retreat for the Queen.
Staff in the school's kitchens worked hard to ensure the wedding buffet included all the children's favourites and there was an abundance of flags and bunting to ensure the event, on Thursday, was truly patriotic.
Held in the village hall, the wedding celebration included a specially decorated cake which was cut in traditional style.
