Members of the Beccles Salvation Army branch are coming together to make sure nobody is alone this Christmas, by putting on a special lunch on the day.
From 12.30am on Christmas Day at their church in Blyburgate, volunteers will be serving up a delicious two-course meal of roast turkey followed by Christmas pudding, with several places still available at the table.
The dinner will follow a Christmas Day service, which takes place at 10.30am.
The event will also see teas and coffees served, along with mince pies and Carol singing, as members spread festive cheer across the town.
Organisers say they have already had sufficient volunteers come forward to help with the event, although further opportunities could arise if more bookings for the dinner are made.
Anita Cotterill, corps officer at Beccles, said: 'There are still places available, which can be booked by phoning 01502 713235.'
